FAQ
I’m not photogenic, will you help with posing?
Absolutely. Most people feel camera shy at first, and that’s completely normal. I’ll gently guide you with natural prompts and movements so nothing feels stiff or forced, by the end of the session, you’ll feel relaxed and confident.
What should I wear to my session?
Once booked, you’ll receive a style guide with colour suggestions, textures, and outfit ideas. I also offer a small client closet for select sessions, and I’m always happy to help you choose something that feels comfortable and aligned with your vision.
How long does a portrait session take?
Session lengths vary depending on the package you choose, but most portrait sessions run between 60–120 minutes. This allows plenty of time for settling in, guided posing, and capturing genuine moments without rushing.
When will we receive our photos?
Your final edited images will be delivered digitally via an online gallery within an agreed timeframe, usually within 2–3 weeks. You’ll be able to download, share, and treasure them with ease.
Can I bring children, partners, or include cultural elements?
Yes, partners, children, and whānau are always welcome depending on your chosen package. Cultural elements such as korowai, pareu, leis, or meaningful taonga are encouraged and beautifully honoured within your session.
